I have to agree that typo3 is great, it is like a full-blown operating system for your website. The latest version is 4.02 and I am running it on PHP 4.4, and I don't think you'll have a problem with PHP 5. However, if you have questions the typo3 mailinglist is an excellent resource. I'd be very interested to see how you like typo3, some folks say it is overly complicated, which it is in comparison to Drupal and WordPress, but I think its flexibility and power make up for this in the long run. Good luck.

Daryl,

Was PHP 5 required? I know you've upgraded your site, so I'm curious if you're using a different version of Typo3 than I might.

I've heard some good things about Typo3. If it's as easy to install as you say, I may be looking at it this weekend.

Thanks!

Took me less than five minutes of work to set up the test site of Typo3: http://symptomsmayinclude.net/typo3/

Decompressing the zip file and the ftp upload took some time, but it was just click and walk away. Came back this morning and the site was loaded. Only took a few minutes to run through the install. Very nice.
